I have a SSRS report which receives month of a year as a parameter. SSRS has its own way to show its filter. If you want filter you should accept its tool bar too. There is no way you can hide toolbar if you want filters.
So the workaround in my case was to hide SSRS filter along with its toolbar. Then add a choice filter web-part to the page and create a connection with the SSRS report.
